Customs checkpoints of Kyrgyzstan will open in the ports of Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Bandar Abbas in Iran, reports the “MIR 24” portal. The instruction to open the Kyrgyz customs in the seaports of the Persian Gulf was given by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic Akylbek Zhaparov during an expanded meeting.
Kyrgyzstan expects a sharp increase in international trade in the coming years. In 5-7 years, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will begin to function, so the opening of new customs points in other countries is intended to help the work of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs. Thanks to such measures, it is planned to collect customs fees in the amount of 100 billion soms.
