President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved an intergovernmental agreement “On trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Turkmenistan”. About this reports Sputnik with reference to the press service of the head of state.
The document instructs the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan to ensure the implementation of the articles of this agreement.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic was instructed to notify Türkiye and Turkmenistan about the implementation by Azerbaijan of the relevant domestic procedures for the entry into force of this agreement”, the statement says.
Let us remind that the agreement between the Governments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye on trade and economic cooperation was signed on December 14, 2022 in Avaza.
