The Ministry of General Education and Training of South Sudan has received 330 thousand printed primary school textbooks from the Chinese government, reports “Xinhua” News Agency.
The aid was received within the framework of the cooperation project in the field of education. The books are designed for learning English, mathematics and science.
“Today we are very grateful for receiving training materials from the project. I have directed the distribution process to be well organized to ensure that these materials reach the hands of those in need”, said Awut Deng Acuil, Minister of General Education of the Republic of South Sudan.
It is also reported that the PRC government provided the African country with tangram (Chinese puzzle) and mathematics kits for elementary schools and laboratory equipment for secondary schools.
