1. The Association of Automobile Schools of the Agency “Turkmenawtoulaglary” announces changes to the tariffs for driving training. The changes came into effect on January 1, 2023. The cost of training for category “B” is 583 manats, duration – 2,5 months, and training for the dual category “B / C” will cost 748 manats, and will be 3,5 months. Other tariffs can be found on the official website of the Agency “Turkmenawtoulaglary”.

2. The official website of the Turkish Visa Application Center in Ashgabat published a list of mandatory documents required for citizens of Turkmenistan to apply for a tourist visa to Türkiye in 2023. Among the main documents, a valid international passport with a validity period of at least 6 months from the date of entry into Türkiye, a hotel reservation or accommodation information indicating the applicant's data, a bank statement for the last 3 months with a signature and seal, as well as other certificates.

3. Cold weather will continue in Turkmenistan in the first half of this week with temperatures below the climatic norm. But by the weekend, the weather will change, as the removal of air masses from the territory of Iran and Afghanistan is activated. Significant warming is expected by the end of the week.

4. In the period from 2022 to 2028, Turkmenistan will allocate 278 billion 900 thousand USD for the implementation of production potential and the development of the social sphere, in accordance with the State Program of the President of Turkmenistan. This was stated by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, within the framework of his speech at a joint meeting of the chambers of the Milli Gengesh, following which he was declared the National Leader of the Turkmen people, and also elected chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

5. Negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography were held by the Delegation of the Euronews TV channel, which is on a working visit to Ashgabat. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Konstantin Mogilevsky during a business forum in Ashgabat. According to Mogilevsky, the delegation also included the Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also noted that one of the big and serious tasks is the implementation of the initiative of Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin to create a joint university.

7. Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Brussels Sapar Palvanov took part in an exhibition dedicated to the culture of Central Asian countries. The exhibition also featured Turkmen national jewelry, carpets and handicrafts, and Turkmen national dishes were offered to the participants of the event.

8. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, according to which the prosecutor's office of the city of Arkadag, Ahal velayat, was created within the limits of the total staff of the prosecutor's office of Turkmenistan. A local court will also appear in the city of Arkadag. The corresponding Decree in connection with changes in the administrative-territorial division of Ahal velayat was also signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

9. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the presidential and parliamentary elections in the republic are scheduled for May 14. “I call on the representatives of our youth, who will take part in the elections for the first time, to make the right choice during the voting, which will take place on May 14”, Erdogan said at a meeting with youth in Bursa.
