Ten documents were signed in Ashgabat following the results of the Turkmen-Russian talks held on January 20 in Ashgabat. This is reported by the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Agreement on cooperation between the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov was signed by the rector of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov Victor Sadovnichy and Rector of TSU Magtymguly Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva.
In addition, nine more documents were signed during the negotiations:
- Agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of migration. The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Kravchenko and Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan Nazar Atagarayev.
- Memorandum between the Federal Customs Service (Russian Federation) and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of personnel training. The document was signed by Head of the Federal Customs Service Vladimir Bulavin and Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan Maksat Hudaikulyev.
- Protocol on cooperation in the field of combating customs offenses for 2023–2025. The document was signed by Head of the Federal Customs Service Vladimir Bulavin and Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan Maksat Hudaikulyev.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Russian Federation) and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. The document was signed by the head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Ilya Shestakov and the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldy Serdarov.
- Protocol between the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Russian Federation) and the State Plant Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan on the transition to the integration of information systems in the field of plant quarantine. The document was signed by Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Yulia Shvabauskene and Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan Allanur Altyyev.
- Action plan (“road map”) on the issues of Turkmen-Russian cooperation in the field of water use and ecology (lead agency - RAS). The document was signed by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Stepan Kalmykov and the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan Allanur Altyyev.
- Memorandum of intent on the implementation of an investment project to create a logistics center of Turkmenistan in the port special economic zone of the Astrakhan region. The document was signed by Sergey Milushkin, General Director of “Lotos” SEZ JSC, and Merdan Byashimov, Acting General Director of the “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” Open Joint-Stock Company.
- Agreement on cooperation between JSC “Special Economic Zone “Lotos”” (Astrakhan region, Russian Federation) and the competent authority from Turkmenistan. The document was signed by Sergey Milushkin, General Director of “Lotos” SEZ JSC, and Merdan Byashimov, Acting General Director of the “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” Open Joint-Stock Company.
- Memorandum of Understanding in the field of youth policy between the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Russian Federation) and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. The document was signed by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Denis Ashirov and Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Gurbangul Atayeva.
Let us remind that earlier the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan approved a list of world-renowned universities whose diplomas are recognized by Turkmenistan. This list also includes more than 70 Russian universities. Among them there is also Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
