The Association of Automobile Schools of Turkmenistan reported that more than 42 thousand people have been trained to drive in the country over the past year. The most popular and demanded driving category among course participants is considered to be the category “BC”, 17 thousand 897 people received the right to it during the year.
In second place in terms of the number of documents received, 4005 residents of Turkmenistan learned the driving license of category “B” during the year. Drivers were also retrained in categories “C”, “D” and “E”.
During the year, 4336 truck drivers were trained in driving schools in Turkmenistan, and 4627 people were retrained as drivers of dangerous goods.
