Ashgabat hosted a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Archbishop Theophylact, the administrator of the parishes of the Patriarchal Deanery in Turkmenistan.
As reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the meeting, an exchange of views was on the further development of bilateral humanitarian ties.
The archbishop expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the favorable conditions created for the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkmenistan.
Let us remind that the Archbishop of Pyatigorsk and Circassia Theophylact during his visit to Ashgabat in February 2020 decided to expand the program of assistance to the parishes of Turkmenistan.
