The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Armenia, Irakli Garibashvili and Nikol Pashinyan, signed an agreement in Yerevan on January 12 to permit citizens of both countries to make mutual trips using a biometric identity card, reported TASS with reference to the press service of the Georgian Cabinet of Ministers.

During the meeting of the prime ministers, it was noted that the volume of trade between Georgia and Armenia increased by 70% over the 11 months of last year and exceeded 1 billion USD. Armenia is on the 6th place in the list of the largest trade partners of Georgia, cooperation in the spheres of tourism and cargo transportation is actively developing.
