Since February, the State Duma of the Russian Federation plans to simplify the employment procedure for teenagers from the age of 14, writes “Izvestia”.
If a new draft law “On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation with regard to the regulation of the labor of workers under the age of 18 years” is adopted, teenagers will no longer need the consent of the guardianship and guardianship authorities when applying for a job and concluding an employment contract, only permission from one of parents.
Some parliamentarians advocate that the possibility of employment for adolescents from 14 years of age be limited only to summer holidays, so that work is not at the expense of studying at school.
