Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, instructor-test cosmonaut, commander of the cosmonaut corps of the “Roscosmos” State Corporation Oleg Kononenko congratulated the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the New Year 2023.

The past year has become significant in the history of Turkmenistan. In elections held on a democratic, open and fair basis, you were elected to the highest state post. Thus, the continuity of the course of progressive reforms, the strengthening of the country's international positions, the growth of the economy and the social sphere, the prosperity and well-being of our beautiful land were ensured”, says O. Kononenko's congratulatory letter, published today in the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The Russian cosmonaut expressed his conviction that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “all the tasks set in 2023 will be fulfilled, the strategic development goals will be achieved”.
He also stated that he is always ready to make a feasible contribution to the advancement of his Motherland - independent neutral Turkmenistan.
“I will be glad and proud to meet with you in the new year”, Oleg Kononenko noted in his message, wishing the head of Turkmenistan “good health, family happiness, new successes in large-scale political and state activities”, and also expressing “the sincerest congratulations and best wishes to dear compatriots – Turkmen citizens”.
