Since January 2023, salaries, pensions, state benefits and scholarships increased in Turkmenistan

Since January 1 of this year, salaries, pensions, state benefits and scholarships of students and listeners have increased by 10% in Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Order of the President of the country.

Now the minimum wage in the country is 1160 manats, pensions – 450 manats, state benefits – 430 manats, pensions of participants of the Great Patriotic War – 1880 manats, pensions of spouses of participants of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers – 550 manats.

The increase in wages will be ensured by improving the structure of institutions, enterprises and organizations, increasing the efficiency of using production capacities and labor productivity of workers, and using unused internal reserves, is noted in the Order.

Let’s remind that the corresponding Order was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 8, 2022.
