The 10th anniversary Turkmen-German medical forum will be held on January 26-27. It will be organized via a teleconference at the International Educational and Scientific Center, Deputy Prime Minister Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, who is in charge of the healthcare sector, reported at the first meeting of the Government held today in 2023, announced the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, specialists from the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan and velayat healthcare institutions will also take part in the forum.
After listening to the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of further deepening international cooperation with the world's leading medical centers, including Germany.
All these years, the forum, initiated by the ex-President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, permits successfully developing partnerships between Turkmen and German colleagues, developing joint projects to modernize the healthcare system of Turkmenistan, introduce advanced technologies and equipment, train scientific personnel and highly qualified specialists, the head of state noted and instructed Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of this event.
