December 28 marks 100th anniversary of the birth of one the Marvel comic book authors Stan Lee, writes “Kommersant”. In collaboration with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he invented and embodied in drawings such characters of the universe as Spider-man, Doctor Strange, Thor, Hulk, Iron man, X men and many others.

The heroes of Stan Lee and other authors, with all their might, are distinguished by humanity, have their flaws, live in the everyday world and fight for justice with the help of their superpowers.
In the industry of comic books Lee began working in 30s of the XX century. His first hero was the Destroyer. In the 70s, Stan Lee took a position of publisher and editor of the Marvel Comics magazine.
