Turkmenistan is increasing cooperation with international organizations in the trade sphere in order to implement tasks stated in the “Program for the development of foreign economic activity for 2020-2025”. This was reported by Batyr Аtdayev, Vice-Premier on trade complex, textile industry and entrepreneurship, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports today.

As per his words, within the framework of the interaction of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Affairs with the UN Development Program, a project aimed at activating and modernizing the country’s trade sector has been executed.

Vice-Premier told that the work on further development of foreign economic affairs, developing of foreign trade turnover, strengthening of partnership with authoritative structures specialized in these directions is underway.

After hearing the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that in the modern era, the priority tasks facing the trade complex are deepening foreign economic relations, stimulating investment activity, expanding the list of services provided through the digital system, etc.

Having made an accent on the necessity of developing close ties with the international structure, primarily within the framework of the UN Development Program, as well as with foreign partners, learning best foreign experience in this sphere, the head of state gave Vice-Premier specific instructions.
