Turkish Airlines will increase the number of flights to Turkmenistan

Turkish Airlines will increase the number of regular flights to Turkmenistan from January 2023, reports Atavatan Türkmenistan.

In particular, the number of flights from Istanbul to Ashgabat will increase from two to four. It will be possible to fly to Turkmenbashi twice a week. Accordingly, the total number of weekly Turkish Airlines flights to Turkmenistan will be increased to 6. The schedule will be valid from January 2, 2022 to March 25, 2023.

Turkish Airlines will fly from Istanbul (IST) to Ashgabat Airport (ASB) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Departure from Istanbul to Ashgabat is at 21:10. Flights from Ashgabat to Istanbul will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Departure from Ashgabat to Istanbul is at 03:45.

Flights on the route Istanbul (IST) — Turkmenbashi (KRW) and back will be operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Departure from Istanbul to Turkmenbashi is at 11:00, and from Turkmenbashi to Istanbul at 15:55.

Airfare in 2023 will be reduced. The new cost of the flight from Istanbul to Ashgabat and back will be 605 USD.

On Turkish Airlines flights, citizens of Turkmenistan do not need to present a PCR test.

Citizens of Turkmenistan need a visa to visit Türkiye. The cost of a single entry starts at 60 USD, and a double entry starts at 120 USD. Visas are issued by Gateway International.
