Today, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives to Turkmenistan.
The visit of Erdogan is scheduled on December 13-14 to participate in the summit of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye at the national touristic zone “Avaza”, the press-service of the head of Türkiye reports.
“At the summit in Avaza will be discussed such important issues as deepening cooperation between the three fraternal countries in the fields of trade, energy and transport”, the statement reads.
Moreover, it is reported that at the summit will be signed several agreements which aim to strengthen the cooperation legal base.
Bilateral talks will be held on the sidelines of the summit, the source notes.
Let’s remind that the summit of the leaders of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye was postponed for several times. Last year it should have been held in August in Avaza, but was postponed at Erdogan's request due to difficult situation in Türkiye, occurred of the forest fires.
