Three-time world football champion, worldwide famous Brazilian football player “King of Football” Pele has been hospitalized, ESPN TV channel reports.

Recently, a colon tumor was diagnosed at the sportsmen. Last fall, he was operated and a chemotherapy was held, however the disease relapsed, metastases appeared in the intestines, liver and lung. Pele was hospitalized twice this year at the Albert Einstein Clinic for cancer treatment.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento (real name of a football player) was born in 1940 in Brazil. He is the only three-time world football campion, XX century’s best football player and the author of a record 1279 goals.
