The Indian authorities have lifted all Covid-19 restrictions on entry for foreigners, including the citizens of Turkmenistan, from November 22, 2022. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare of India.

PCR tests for COVID-19, vaccination certificates or online forms are no longer needed to enter the country.

However, the Ministry of Healthcare of India in any case recommends that travelers get vaccination. The document also clarified that during the flight it is preferable to keep a social distance and mask regime. The management clarified that in case of occurrence of viral disease symptoms appear, the travelers must report this to the nearest medical institution and go into isolation.

We remind that regular flights between Turkmenistan and India were interrupted in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before the pandemic, “Turkmenistan” Airlines operated weekly scheduled flights to Delhi and Amritsar.
