Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Mali to Russia discussed the development of bilateral relations

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Batyr Niyazliev today met with Ambassador of Mali to Moscow Haruna Samake and discussed with him the development of bilateral relations. This is reported by the official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia.

During the conversation, the diplomats noted the existence of historical ties between Turkmenistan and Mali, in particular, the establishment of sister city relations between the capitals of the two states - Ashgabat and Bamako several decades ago. In this context, the importance of maintaining the continuity of Turkmen-Mali relations was emphasized.

The Ambassador of Mali to the Russian Federation, Haruna Samake, expressed his readiness to make efforts to give due impetus to the development of broad political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Mali.

In turn, the head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission noted the readiness of Turkmenistan to develop and strengthen friendly, equal and mutually beneficial relations with Mali, to discuss in detail the issues of organizing mutual visits at a high level, and to create a legal framework for cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Mali agreed to continue working contacts.

The Republic of Mali is a country in West Africa. Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Mali were established on November 16, 1992.
