180 Korean language textbooks and various educational materials were donated to Ashgabat school № 88.
The donation was held on November 15 when the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Shin Sung-Chul visited the school, who met with the director Arslan Yabanov, reports newscentralasia.
To study the culture and language of Korea, the Ambassador presented visual aids to school students - a Hahoe mask and a model of a turtle ship, as well as DVDs with Korean films and dramas.
In addition, among the gifts were office equipment - laptops and printers.
School № 88 has been teaching Korean since 2019, and today it is being studied by students of 14 classes. Ambassador Shin Sung-Chul also attended the open class.
The gifts to the school were provided within the framework of a project by the Korean Ministry of Education to support Korean language teaching abroad in overseas schools.
