President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Chamber of the Halk Maslahaty of the National Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent letters to the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which they expressed their condolences to the head of the friendly state in connection with the explosion in Istanbul and the existing human casualties, said in a statement of the press service of the Turkmen foreign policy department.

The explosion occurred on November 13 in the center of Istanbul, on the busy Istiklal street. This is one of the most popular tourist areas in the city. In addition, the Russian consulate is located on this street. According to Turkish media, six people died as a result of the incident.
