Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conon McGregor said he wants to buy the English football club “Liverpool”, writes sports.ria.ru with the reference to the social media of the Irishman.
“Buy Liverpool? I would love it. I requested information on this as soon as I heard. What a turn of events! What a club!”, wrote McGregor.
Earlier, it become known that the American company Fenway Sports Group (FSG) put “Liverpool” up for sale. For parties interested in purchasing the club the full presentation has been prepared.
It was also noted that the investment company Dubai International Capital from the UAE is ready to buy the club for 4.3 billion pounds.
Last summer, the Irishman was interested in purchasing “Chelsea” football club, he was ready to pay 1.5 billion pounds for the “Blues”.
FSG owns “Liverpool” since October 2010. In 2019, the club won the Campions League, and in 2020 it become the champion of England for the first time in 30 years.
