The award “For contribution to Turkic culture” was awarded the Turkmen cinematographers at the International cinema festival of the Turkic world Korkut Ata, held in Turkish Bursa from November 1 to 5. The “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” edition reports it.
Recently we reported that the representatives of the creative association “Turkmenfilm” named after Oguz Han took to the festival such movies as “Gyzyl kurte”, “Isterin”, “Sounds of dutar”. Sahysalyh Bayramov represented Turkmenistan in the jury of the festival.
Among participants of the festival were representatives of cinema industry of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan anв Turkmenistan. In the main contest, 10 movies were declared. In the contest of documental films took part 14 creative works.
The next cinema festival Korkut Ata will be held in the “Cultural capital of the Turkic world 2023” in the Azerbaijani city Shusha.
