More than 10 documents on the development of bilateral cooperation will be signed within the framework of the two-day official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan, which begins today. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek leader.
“During the upcoming talks on the highest level, issues of further strengthening strategic partnership and expanding of multifaceted cooperation will be considered. As per their results it is planned to sign more than 10 documents on priority directions of interaction”, is said in the massage.
The important points of the visit program will be the opening of “Tashkent” park in Ashgabat and launch of the project for the construction of the “Horezm-Dashoguz” Border Trade Center.
It is important to note that in the last three months Presidents of two countries have met four times.
On July 14 – 15, was conducted a state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan, which opened a new page in the history of modern bilateral relations.
The leaders of the two countries also met on the sidelines of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States conducted on July 21 in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan), the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand (September 15-16), as well as the CIS and Central Asia–Russia summits held on October 13-14 in Astana (Kazakhstan).
