Members of the world-famous South Korean K-pop group BTS are sent to the army for mandatory military service, the MIR-24 Internet portal reports with reference to the Big Hit Music agency.

Since the members of the group are currently focusing on solo activities, military service should not have a negative impact on the activities of the ensemble as a whole. According to the laws of Korea, the singers have to pay military duty from 18 to 22 months, depending on the type of troops.

The singers will unite again in 2025, while during their military service they will be allowed to rehearse and give concerts, including abroad.
