President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated his head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries.
“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
I note with great satisfaction that over the last three decades, our countries have been able to strengthen the ties of friendship, build multifaceted and mutually beneficial interstate ties in the interests of the two fraternal peoples”, says the message of the President of Kazakhstan, the text of which was read today in the Watan news program of the Turkmen television.
Evidence of this, according to Tokayev, are “an active political dialogue, the systematic development of cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also the successful interaction of the two countries in the international arena”.
“Opening a new milestone in the annals of bilateral relations, I reaffirm my readiness for close joint work to bring the Kazakh-Turkmen strategic partnership to a qualitatively new level”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized in his message, wishing President Serdar Berdimuhamedov great success and new achievements in responsible state activities, and the people of Turkmenistan - well-being and prosperity.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan were established on October 5, 1992.
