The festive horse races in honor of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, which will be held on September 28 at the International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex, promise to be very interesting.
In accordance with the State Association “Turkmen Atlary”, a prize fund of 900 thousand manats has been established for the upcoming festive races, which will be raffled off by young and experienced riders in seven races.
Three-year-old horses will compete at a distance of 1600 meters in the first three races, in which 100 thousand manats from the financial, economic, oil and gas and trade complexes will be raffled off. In the 4th and 5th races, in which prizes in the amount of 100 thousand manats were also set by the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the construction and industrial complex, four-year-old horses will start the 1800-meter distance.
In the 6th race for 2200 meters, jockeys will compete for the prize (100 thousand manats) of the agricultural complex.
The culmination of the festive day will be the final 7th race at 2200 meters, in which the prize of the President of Turkmenistan - 300 thousand manats will be raffled.
