President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations to the President of Argentina Republic Alberto Fernández and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television reported today.
“Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust,” - Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, emphasizing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties.
In the message the confidence that due to the mutual efforts, cooperation between Turkmenistan and Argentina will continue develop in the interests of both peoples was expressed.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere wishes to President of Argentina Alberto Fernández of good health, happiness and prosperity, and to the people of the Argentina Republic – progress and prosperity.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Argentina Republic were established on September 24, 1992.
