Turkmenistan has taken measures to provide economic incentives to producers of wheat, cotton and sugar beets.

The Decree “On economic incentives for producers of wheat, cotton and sugar beets in Turkmenistan” was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday at a government meeting.

As reported in today's newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, the document is aimed at increasing the interest of the country's agricultural producers in obtaining rich harvests of grain, cotton and sugar beet and improving the fodder provision of livestock on farms.

In accordance with the Decree, starting from the harvest of 2022, 50% of bran, cake, and beet pulp received on the basis of state orders from tenants, users and owners of grain, cotton and sugar beet lands will be sold to producers at state-regulated prices.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of this decision for growing a rich crop of crops and strengthening food abundance.

“This will be another confirmation of the support provided by the state to manufacturers”, - the head of Turkmenistan said, instructing the vice-premier to control the proper implementation of the tasks arising from the document.
