Tariffs for construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of highways, as well as prices for cargo transportation by road will change in Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented the relevant proposals on the results of the monitoring carried out by the institutions of the economic, financial and banking complexes to the President of Turkmenistan at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today.
“The Vice-Premier reported that it is planned to adopt new drafts of some normative acts on the determination of cost estimate standards and tariffs for the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of highways, the cost of these works, as well as prices for the cargo transportation by road. Along with this, proposals were presented regarding financing of relevant activities by the Agency, planned to be executed in the future”, the information program “Watan” of Turkmen television reported.
Summarizing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the necessity of improving the documents, regulating the field of road construction. Having emphasized the necessity for a clear-cut solution of the tasks related to the financing of work in this sphere, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice – Premier to revise this issue together with the profile structures in details.
