The delegation of Turkmenistan participates in the UN Transforming Education Summit from September 16 to 19, which is held in New York.
The Summit assembled by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, is targeted at discussion of the ways of improvement of education around the world, as well as overcoming the challenges called by the pandemic.
The Forum gathered the UN Member States, UN agencies and international organizations and agencies, academics and professionals, civil society organizations, different foundations, alliances, and also the private sector.
Representative of Turkmenistan will attend a series of sessions, as well as the closing session of the plenary on the subject of the digital transformation of education, the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
We remind that from June to August, a number of national consultations on reformation of education system has been carried out by the Government of Turkmenistan together with UNICEF and UNESCO with the aim of preparation to the Summit.
