A number of cultural events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkmenistan are expected to be held in Ashgabat starting from October 10.
In this regard, the Ambassador of Japan to Ashgabat Yamamoto Hiroyuki and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Myahrijemal Mammedova discussed cooperation in holding the planned cultural events, reported the Embassy's social networks.
Let us remind that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkmenistan. The Embassy of Japan in Ashgabat has already held anniversary events during the year, such as: the showing of the multi-part Japanese series “Gochiso-san” on Turkmen television, the Turkmen language university and the Government of Japan signed a contract for the
implementation of the grant, the exhibitions “Yakisime: Metamorphoses of the Earth” and “I love sushi”.
