A trading house “Turkmenistan” may appear in Yerevan, and “Armenia” in Ashgabat. This was discussed during the meeting of the Turkmen-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrahmanov and head of the Armenian Department of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan discussed in Ashgabat a wide range of issues related to the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the eighth meeting of the Commission, reports CentralAsia.news.

It was noted that the export of products from the oil and gas, agro-industrial, food and textile industries of Turkmenistan to Armenia will contribute to the active expansion of trade relations between the countries.

Abdrahmanov and Sanosyan agreed to provide mutual support to increase the volume of trade between the states.

“An agreement was reached between the parties to discuss the prospects for opening the “Turkmenistan” trading house in Yerevan and the “Armenia” trading house in Ashgabat”, the report says.
Interest was expressed in strengthening cooperation in the fields of science, culture, sports, tourism, education, healthcare and the media.
