Google corporation, together with NASA, has unveiled a new web platform where you can explore our solar system in detail. The online exhibition highlights some of the most exciting feats of modern science and astronomy.
As the developers note, users now have access not only to 3D models of the planets of the solar system, but also have the opportunity to view celestial bodies from all sides thanks to augmented reality (AR) technology.
And when viewing a 3D model of a planet or moon, markers of iconic moments and famous landmarks, such as the landing site of “Apollo 11” and the Chinese “Chang'e-4” apparatus, will now be available in Google Search, reports ferra.ru.
