Within the framework of the movement “Turkmenistan - UNESCO: roads stretching from the Motherland”, was held a conference “Kunyaurgench - the pearl of Turkmen history” in Dashoguz.
The forum was organized by the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, the National Trade Union Center of the country, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the creative team of the Miras TV and radio company, the hyakimlik of the Dashoguz velayat.
The participants of the conference discussed the issues of study, wide promotion and preservation of ancient monuments, inclusion of significant historical and cultural sites in the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List.
On the first day of the forum, the conference participants were organized field trips to the monuments of ancient Kunyaurgench, as well as to the medieval architectural complex of Ysmamyt-ata, located on the territory of the Gerogly etrap of the Dashoguz velayat, reported on the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
