Today in Ashgabat, a training seminar on the topic “Verification of the authenticity of passports and other identification documents” was completed, which was held by the Regional Office of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime in Central Asia.
As reported on the website of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, the seminar, which was held from September 6 to 8 at the “Yyldyz” hotel, was attended by representatives of the relevant state bodies of the country, international and national experts in this field.
The seminar participants discussed issues related to verification of the authenticity of passports and other identification documents for persons crossing the border.
