Negotiations were held in Ashgabat between the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Special Representative of the Government of the People's Republic of China for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui on the development of relations between Turkmenistan and China in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of Turkmen-Chinese friendly relations of a strategic nature. The parties emphasized the positive experience of interaction between Turkmenistan and China within the framework of various international organizations.
The closeness of the positions of Turkmenistan and China on topical issues related to ensuring global peace and security was emphasized, reports the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
