Turkmenistan strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed on September 5 near the Russian embassy in Kabul, which killed the staff of the diplomatic mission and civilians of Afghanistan. About this was reported on the official website of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan strongly condemns the terrorist act committed on September 5, 2022 in the immediate vicinity of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Kabul, which resulted in the death of Russian diplomatic mission employees and civilians of Afghanistan. Turkmenistan, as an active participant in the international fight against terrorism, calls for further consolidation of the efforts of the world community in the anti-terrorist field”, says the message.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expresses deep condolences to the families, as well as relatives and friends of the dead Russian colleagues.
As reports TASS with reference to the Russian Foreign Ministry, on Monday morning, in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Kabul, an unknown person detonated an explosive device, killing two employees of the Russian diplomatic mission.
According to preliminary data, more than 20 people were injured in the explosion, of which at least 8 died.
