The new edition of the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Youth Policy” was signed today by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, participating in the VII Congress of this organization, the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television reported.
As the Head of state stated, a new edition of the Law “On State Youth Policy” was developed by Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan with the participation of the representatives of the Ministries and sectoral departments, political parties, public organizations as well as youth.
“Its main goal is to ensure the active participation of youth in the economic, political and cultural life of the Motherland, establishing of favorable legal conditions for bringing up the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, humanism and diligence”, said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
As per the words of the President of the country, the adoption of this Law will significantly strengthen the legal ground of the youth policy conducted in the country, also will promote extension of created opportunities for youth.
Earlier it was reported that this Law will allow 18-years-old graduates of schools to get the right for postponed conscription into the army until the start of autumn calling. Thereby, young people who successfully pass the exams, will have an opportunity to enroll in a university or a college and continue their studies.
