New Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium started to perform duties


Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Palvanov has officially started performing diplomatic duties. It was reported on the official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium.

On Monday, Sapar Palvanov presented copies of his credentials to Olivier Belle, the Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Olivier Belle congratulated the Turkmen diplomat on his appointment to this responsible position and wished him success in his diplomatic activities.

The parties considered important aspects of cooperation in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The positive experience of cooperation was discussed separately, as well as the importance of mutual support for international endeavors and initiatives within the framework of competent regional and international organizations, in particular the UN, the EU, and others.

At the end of the meeting, Sapar Palvanov presented copies of his credentials and stressed that he would make every effort to further expand Turkmen-Belgian relations.

We remind that the Order on appointment of Sapar Palvanov as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Belgium (Brussels city) was signed by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in July 2022. By the Presidential Order, he was assigned a diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
