A festival called “The Hope of Turkmenistan in table tennis” was held in Ashgabat. The event took place on August 28.
It should be noted that it is not the first time that the Table Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan holds such events. Last year, a large-scale tournament brought together more than 50 young athletes aged 5 to 8 years on one site.

We should add that in April of current year the Turkmen tennis players joined the celebration of the Table Tennis World Day. As per the words of the Federation Chairman Agamurat Allanazarov, there is a work on the creation of a new galaxy of table tennis players. Young athletes from all over Turkmenistan are attracted to sports.
As previously reported, Ilyas Allanazarov and Alibek Jumanov won silver medals in table tennis in men's doubles at the VII International Sports Games “Children of Asia”.
