The “MIR 24” channel has calculated the average cost of a school set for a Turkmen first-grade pupil.
In accordance with the correspondent of the TV channel, according to average estimates, a school set for a first-grader boy will cost an average of 510 manats, translated into Russian money, this is 8500 rubles, and for a girl a little less than 480 manats (a little more than 8000 rubles).
At present time, there are 410 “School markets” work all across Turkmenistan, where imported and locally manufacturing goods are offered. School uniform and backpacks for pupils are sewn at state and private textile enterprises of the country.
Buyers note the price acceptability. So, the compulsory part of uniform – headwear “taqiyah” costs 45 manats (760 rubles), schoolbags and backpacks in average 80 manats (nearly 1300 rubles). Those who want to cut down expenses can take advantage of promotions that are regularly held by shops and online platforms, the correspondent of “MIR 24” notes.
Trade at the “school markets” will continue until September 4-5.
