For the first 6 months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported from Turkmenistan 36 thousand 571 tons of gasoline of AI-92 brand. It was reported by the agency of oil and gas information Angi.ru.
The total import volume is equal to 41 731, 96 US dollars. By this indication Turkmenistan took second place among all suppliers of AI-92 to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Russia was in the first place, the volume of imports from this country amounted to 109 thousand 184.1 tons of product worth 125,645.95 US dollars. Kazakhstan closes the top three (3,526.29 tons for 3,998.18 US dollars), followed by Romania –1,525.41 tons for 2,278.08 US dollars).
It should be noted that by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan from February 1 to June 1, 2022, customs duties on the import of AI-95 and AI-92 motor gasoline into the republic were reduced from 15% to zero.
Thus, in the first 6 months of 2022, Azerbaijan increased imports of AI-92 gasoline by 30 times compared to the past.
