This was reported by the delegate of the International Conference in Avaza the Vice – Minister of the Industry and Infrastructure development of Kazakshatn Almaz Idyrysov in his interview to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
Particularly, he said:
- It should be noted that our speech and the reports of the Turkmen colleges aroused at the conference a high-profile interest among representatives of delegations from developing countries of Africa and Asia. They were interested in the details of the implementation of our strategic plans on provision of access to foreign ports and sea communications on the ocean coast. They shared their impressions of the conference, future plans of implementation of experience gained at in the solution of the issues of sea access, expressed gratitude to organizers of the International conference.
Almaz Idyrysov, also, noted that longstanding and deep bonds of productive cooperation in many spheres of life being connect Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, including in the construction of transport corridors with access to the World Ocean.
- Like Turkmenistan, my Motherland is rich in natural resources, including gas and oil. Kazakhstan procures oil and gas sector with innovation developments, projects of complex engineering and technical objects, possessing international concern in the light of diversification of export routes of energy carriers through the territory of third countries. The construction of the Kazakhstan–Turkmenistan–Iran railway, along which test echelons have already passed, also belongs to this series.”
He, also, stressed that solving transport issue of entering the market of Eurasia and other continents with the use of global marine communications, Kazakhstan comprehensively discusses it with its partners, introducing expert adjustments to the projects and, by reaching consensus, begins to implement them.
We remind that the International Conference at the Level of Ministers of Transport of Landlocked Developing Countries “Ashgabat Process: funding for better connectivity” is being held for the second day in Turkmenistan at the Congress Center of the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.
