A five-day online training on the topic of passengers and vehicles procedures at a maritime checkpoint took place in the capital city of Turkmenistan within the framework of the joint plan of the Government and the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat.
As per the State Migrations Service of the country, the representatives of the corresponding state bodies of Turkmenistan, also international and national experts participated in the training.
The training program included the study of modern practices of control and security procedures at marine checkpoints and port’s territory.
International experts familiarized the participants with the world’s experience in the sphere of marine security, screening of passengers, luggage and transport vehicles, moreover, with the work of the temporary mobile checkpoints.
