The Astrakhan Kremlin will host the II International Classical Music Festival OperaFirst 2022. Theater soloists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will come to participate in the event. The event will be held from September 2 to 11, reports runews24.ru.
The main premiere of OperaFirst 2022 will be the author's production of Mussorgsky's opera “Khovanshchina”, which will open the festival. The program of the Caspian Classical Music Festival will continue with the days of the Caspian countries, where guests will be able to get acquainted with the culture of each state.
The concert program “Day of Turkmenistan” will be held on the stage of the Philharmonic on September 7. Opera singer Darya Huseynova and pianist Mamed Huseynov will perform works by Turkmen composers Jeren Gurbangylyjova, Nury Halmamedov, Chary Nurymov, Dangatar Ovezov and Rovshan Nepesov. The main part of the evening will be devoted to the work of the composer and musician Mamed Huseynov.
OperaFirst will end with a gala concert on Cathedral Square of the Astrakhan Kremlin with the participation of opera stars. Spectators of the action will be able to see a bright performance in the open air with a light show and visual effects.
