The State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics has received equipment for the functioning of the platform of the National Database of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The platform is a software for collecting, processing and disseminating data. The creation of a national platform is aimed at developing a system for monitoring and evaluating data on the achievement of the SDGs in Turkmenistan and assisting in the preparation of national reporting on progress in achieving the SDGs.
The transfer of equipment was carried out by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with the support of the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan within the framework of the project “Platform for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals”, implemented by UNDP and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
Let us remind that the National Platform was developed in November last year by the State Committee on Statistics with the assistance of UNDP.
