President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, and also on his own behalf, forwarded sincere congratulations to the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and the entire people of the country on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the establishing of diplomatic relations between countries, today’s newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports.
“Relations between our countries are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, stressing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties, and also expressed confidence that cooperation between our countries will continue to develop steadily in the interests of both peoples.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the Head of Turkmenistan expressed to President Salome Zurabishvili wishes for good health, happiness and well–being, and to the people of Georgia - progress and prosperity.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia were established on July 16, 1992.
