The World Health Organization recommends the return of the mask regime. This was announced on July 13 by the head of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as a result of a meeting to counter the pandemic.

“I am concerned that the number of cases of COVID-19 continues to rise, which is placing additional strain on overburdened health systems and healthcare workers,” said the organization’s leader.

“New waves of illness demonstrate that COVID-19 is not over yet,” said Ghebreyesus, noting, however, that countries are “in a much better position than at the beginning of the pandemic,” reports iz.ru.
