The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the VI Caspian Summit.

As reported in the press center of the summit, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met the distinguished guest at the International Airport of the Turkmen capital.

A summit of the heads of the Caspian states will be held today in Ashgabat. The leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan will discuss issues of cooperation in the region.
